Calorie Burners

In search of a fun and effective way to torch calories? Look no further than Calorie Burners classes! Our fun energic workouts combine cardio and strength training to keep your body challenged and burning calories throughout the session. Whether you’re a fitness newbie or a seasoned gym-goer, there’s a Calorie Burners class for you, designed to help you reach your weight loss goals and feel your best.

Fort Fit (Waterside) – Calling all fitness enthusiasts! Get ready to push your limits and transform your body with Fort Fit. It’s a constantly varied blend of functional movements like squats, pushes, pulls, and Olympic lifts, all performed at top speed. Fort Fit workouts are designed to build overall strength, improve endurance, and boost your metabolism, making it a powerful tool for getting fit and feeling fantastic.

Fort Strike (Waterside) – Unleash your inner fighter and get a full-body workout like no other. This program blends striking techniques and build incredible strength and endurance – all in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Fort Strong (Waterside) – Want to build lean muscle, increase bone density, and sculpt your dream physique? Our Strength-Based class is for you! This program focuses on using free weights, machines, and bodyweight exercises to target all major muscle groups. Each session is designed to progressively challenge you, helping you gain strength, improve muscle definition, and boost your metabolism for a healthier, more confident you.

Spin – Saddle up for an exciting and fun way to pedal your way to cardiovascular fitness. Incorporating Sprints, Power and Strength.

Spin CBC (Coach by colour) – Challenge your fitness with the most advanced spin bikes in the world! Ride to great beats and the 5 colour zones to get the full effects of Spin. We host monthly FTP tests to find your fitness levels, with this no matter your fitness level you have a great session.

Spin CONNECT – Have an amazing workout and challenge your fitness with team battles and individual goals. You will lose yourself in this amazing workout with virtual tours. We guarantee you will improve your fitness with this class!

Spin Virtual – Train and cycle on the best bikes in the world. Whether your super fit or new to exercise the revolutionary coach by colour system will give you a challenging and effective workout. Cycle to amazing scenery and stimulating music with our tour coaches or work 1-2-1 with our world class coach option, ride it like you see it.

Learn to Spin – New to exercise and want to give a spin class a go? We recommend trying this. You’ll get a chance to test out a coach by colour spin class with one of our great instructors. Ride to fantastic music at a lower intensity and get a feel for spin. This class is great to get your heart pumping and muscles working.

BoxFit – Classic boxing using focus pads, punching bags and jumping ropes. Punch your way to great fitness levels doing intense enjoyable routines.

Combat – A no-contact aerobic workout which combine moves and stances from a range of self defence disciplines like karate, boxing and taekwondo. This session will raise fitness levels throughout the whole body.

Step – Using simple moves that let you train at your own intensity. It features a mixture of cardiovascular training and muscle conditions to help tone and shape the whole body.

Bootcamp – Achieve a full body workout. Involving both cardiovascular and resistance exercises to motivating music to get you great results.

Toning & Strength

Sculpt your ideal physique and build functional strength in our Toning & Strength classes! These dynamic workouts combine bodyweight exercises, free weights, and resistance bands to target all major muscle groups. Designed to progressively challenge you, Toning & Strength classes will help you increase muscle definition, improve bone density, and boost your metabolism. Whether you’re a beginner looking to get started or a seasoned exerciser seeking a total-body challenge, our Toning & Strength classes offer a fun and effective way to achieve your fitness goals.

LES MILLS BODYPUMP™ – Is for anyone looking to get lean and toned. The original barbell class. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, Body Pump gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 590 calories.

LBT – Legs, Bums and Tums. A complete lower body workout for those problem areas using hand weights, steps and bands.

Bootcamp – Achieve a full body workout. Involving both cardiovascular and resistance exercises to motivating music to get you great results.

Kettle Bells – Kettle bells are a great way to help strengthen, tone and shape your body. Swinging movements that help improve your posture, lower body strength and power.

SYNRGY – SYNRGY classes are a great workout that combine functional exercises with every day movements. HIIT and weight loss are superb workouts which will leave you feeling fully worked. Our active classes are lower impact and less intense but you will still get a great workout.

CORE – Sculpt and tone your waist with challenging strength and balance work. You’ll feel the burn and get a flatter waist with this great workout.

THE WORKOUT – This is the next step in group exercise. The workout brings traditional gym training into a class environment. Whether its high explosive power work or high weight low reps strength work we have it covered in THE WORKOUT. You will get stronger, fitter and drop body fat in this class!

HIIT

LES MILLS GRIT STRENGTH™ – GRIT STRENGTH focuses on full range of motion to build a strong athletic body.

SPRINT™ (Waterside) – Highly energetic with huge bursts of maximal speed, strength and power taking cardiovascular fitness to the next level. Minimum impact on joints with huge fat loss and afterburn effects.

HIIT STEP – HIIT STEP is a high-intensity interval training class that combines dynamic bodyweight exercises with stepping on an adjustable platform for a calorie-burning, full-body workout.

HIIT – HIIT, or High-Intensity Interval Training, is a workout style that alternates short bursts of intense exercise with periods of rest or lower intensity activity.

Re-Energise

Pilates – Focus on building your body’s core strength and improving your posture through a series of low repetition low impact stretching and conditioning exercises. Pilates develops the body uniformly, corrects posture, restores physical vitality and revives the mind.

Yoga – Yoga is a spiritual and ascetic discipline, including breath control and simple meditation. If you’re looking to calm your mind and release your day to day worry, this is the class for you.

Active Life

Stay active, strong, and social with our engaging Active Fitness classes! These classes focus on gentle exercises that promote flexibility, balance, and improved range of motion. Whether you’re looking to maintain strength, prevent falls, or simply enjoy a fun and social workout, our senior classes offer a supportive environment to help you achieve your fitness goals and feel your best.

Active Aerobics – A stimulating workout that combines mobility, aerobics, floor work and stretching and exercises.

Active Aqua – A stimulating workout that combines mobility, aerobics, stretching in the pool. This session includes one hours free swim at the end of the class.

Active Pilates – Focus on building your body’s core strength and improving your posture through a series of low repetition low impact stretching and conditioning exercises. Pilates develops the body uniformly, corrects posture, restores physical vitality and revives the mind.

Active Yoga – Yoga is a spiritual and ascetic discipline, including breath control and simple meditation. If you’re looking to calm your mind and release your day to day worry, this is the class for you.

Active Club Fit – Have a a great time and dance your way to fitness with chart topping 90’s anthems! Shake and twist your body to lift your heart rate and burn fat.

No partner required – you’ll learn easy-to-follow routines set to a variety of music genres, from country classics to upbeat pop hits. Line dancing is a great way to improve coordination, boost your mood, and burn calories, all while making new friends in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. Table Tennis / Badminton – Table tennis is a fast-paced paddle sport where you hit a lightweight ball over a net. Badminton is a racket sport where players hit a shuttlecock back and forth over a net

FortFit Inspire 11+ – It’s a constantly varied blend of functional movements like squats, pushes, pulls, and Olympic lifts, all performed at top speed. Aqua

Aqua – Dive into a refreshing and low-impact workout with our Aqua Class! This invigorating program takes place in the pool, where you’ll utilize the water’s resistance to perform a variety of exercises targeting your entire body. Aqua classes are perfect for all fitness levels, as the water’s buoyancy reduces stress on your joints while providing a fun and effective way to burn calories, improve cardiovascular health, and tone your muscles.
