STA STAr Swim Academy of the Year Award Winners

Castle Point Leisure is the winner of the prestigious STA Swim Academy of the Year Award at the STA STAr Awards 2023.

This brilliant achievement adds to the collection of awards won in previous years after winning at the UK Active Awards, National Fitness Awards and TRP MEA Awards. However, this is the first award dedicated solely to the swimming lesson programme run at both Runnymede and Waterside Farm Leisure Centres. The Award was competed against some of the best in the industry which shows how great our Swim Academy is at Castle Point Leisure.

Cllr Dave Blackwell, Leader at Castle Point Borough Council said “Winning this incredible award is just another way of showing how good the team at Runnymede & Waterside Farm Leisure Centres are. We are so lucky to have these two centres in our borough and I am so proud of what the team are doing by teaching our residents how to swim and stay safe around water and potentially saving lives.”
