Air-conditioning to be replaced at the Runnymede Fitness Suite

Great news, we’re investing in four new air conditioner units to be installed in the Fitness Suite at Runnymede Leisure Centre.  The new cassettes units will be fitted to the ceiling and installation is due to start Monday 15th July.

During installation, some areas of the gym will be sectioned off for safety and these areas will change daily.

We have been advised that the works will take approximately 5-6 days and as soon as one unit is installed, it can be switched on. We have engineered the air conditioning system in such a way that if one unit need maintenance, the other three units can keep the fitness suite cool.

The new air conditioning system will make the state of the art facility a very cool place to train.

In the meantime please make sure you stay hydrated, we supply free water from the water fountain and if you wish to train at cooler times then please use the fitness suite early in the morning or later at night.
