Waterside Farm Leisure Centre is the winner of the South Region Centre of the Year

Waterside Farm Leisure Centre, Canvey Island is the winner of the South Region Centre of the Year at the prestigious National Fitness Awards

Waterside Farm Leisure Centre is the winner of the South Region Centre of the Year at the National Fitness Awards 2023. Waterside Farm Leisure Centre also came runner up in the Local Authority of the Year Award whilst Runnymede Leisure Centre came runner up in the Customer Service Award.

The National Fitness Awards had a record number of entries this year with over 200 entrants in the South Region Centre of the Year Award and adds to the success after winning the STA Swim Academy of the Year 2023 and other awards at previous years at the National Fitness Awards, UK Active Awards and TRP MEA Awards showcasing the great accomplishments and success that Castle Point Leisure is currently achieving within the fitness industry.

Cllr Dave Blackwell, Leader at Castle Point Borough Council said “Winning yet another award further cements how lucky we are to have these two brilliant leisure centres in our borough. We are incredibly lucky to have such a hard working team who make our leisure centres the award winning standard that they are and provide these brilliant facilities and service for our community”.
